Easy Booking
Fast, guided booking with clear confirmation and support at every step.
We're My Flying Consultancy, a travel agency here in the UK. We book flights, hotels and holiday packages, and we try to do it the straightforward way. You tell us where you want to go and roughly when, and we sort out the options.
Anyone who has tried to book a trip online knows how it goes. Ten tabs open, prices that change when you refresh, and no real idea whether you're getting a fair deal. That's where we come in. We do the searching and comparing, then send you the choices in plain English, so you're picking from a short list instead of wading through hundreds of results.
Flights are only half of it. We also look at where you'll be staying, how long the connections are, what baggage you're allowed and what it all costs together. A cheap fare isn't much use if the transfer is a nightmare or the bags cost extra, and we'd rather you knew that before you pay.
We plan all sorts of trips: a quick city break, a honeymoon in the Maldives, a family week in Dubai, or a longer trip to Malaysia, Turkey or the USA. Not sure where to go yet? Have a look at our page on enjoying the beauty of America for some ideas, or just ask us.
Ready when you are. Send us your destination and rough dates and we'll come back with some options. No pressure to book, and no charge for a quote.

Secure your trip with a small deposit and pay the rest later with ease.
Choose an installment plan that fits your budget—simple and transparent.
Our team is available around the clock to help before and after booking.
Start with your budget. Tell us what you'd like to spend and we'll look for flights and hotels that fit, instead of showing you things you'll never book.
Be flexible if you can. Moving a trip by a day or two, or flying midweek, can change the price a lot. If we spot cheaper dates, we'll tell you.
Look at the whole price. A low fare can come with extra charges for bags, seats or transfers. We add everything up so you can compare like with like.
Check flights and hotels together. Sometimes a package works out cheaper, sometimes it doesn't. We look at both ways and tell you which one is better value.
Know what you're giving up. The cheapest option isn't always the best one. A very low fare might mean a long layover or an awkward airport, and we'll be straight with you about that so you can decide.
Booking online is easy until something goes wrong, or until you're staring at forty tabs trying to work out which flight is actually the best one. That's when having a real person to ask makes all the difference. If you've been searching for a travel agency near you, here's what a good one should do for you.
First, they listen. A decent travel agent asks about your budget, who's travelling and what you want from the trip, then suggests options based on that, not just whatever shows up first in a search. You get advice that fits you, not a list of hundreds of results.
Second, they look at value. Agents often know about fare types, hotel rates and package deals that are hard to spot when you're comparing sites on your own. We can't promise a discount on every trip, but we do look at the whole picture, flights, hotels and extras, so you know what you're really paying.
Third, they save you hassle. Instead of piecing the itinerary together yourself, you tell us what you need and we handle the booking, from the flights and hotels to the little details around them.
And last, there's someone to talk to if your plans change. If you have a question about your booking, or something doesn't go as planned, it helps to deal with the people who arranged it. Call us on +44 204 628 0335 or send us a quote request and tell us what you have in mind.
A good holiday doesn't have to cost a fortune. It usually just takes a bit of planning and knowing where the money tends to go. If you're after cheap flights or affordable holiday packages, this is how we go about it.
We start with the dates. Flying on a Tuesday instead of a Friday, or going a week outside the school holidays, can take a surprising amount off a fare. If your dates can move, tell us and we'll show you what the difference looks like.
Then we look at how you get there. Sometimes a different airport, or a route with one stop, is a lot cheaper than the direct flight. It isn't right for everyone, so we explain what you'd gain and what you'd lose and let you choose.
Hotels work the same way. A room a short ride from the main tourist area is often cheaper than one in the middle of it, and for plenty of trips that's a swap worth making. We'll suggest a few options at different prices and tell you honestly how they compare.
We also keep an eye out for deals that suit what you're after, whether that's a package with flights and hotel together or a last-minute offer. We won't promise a bargain every time, but if we think a price looks high, we'll say so before you've paid.
Got a budget in mind? Send it over with where you'd like to go and we'll see what we can do.
Cheaper doesn't have to mean worse. Very often it just means picking the right time of year or the right kind of place to stay. Here are a few examples of how that works for some of the destinations on our site.
Dubai in summer. It's hot, properly hot, but flights and hotels are usually a lot cheaper than in winter. If you don't mind the heat and plan your days around pools, malls and indoor attractions, it can be very good value.
Turkey outside August. May, June and September are warm, less crowded and usually better priced than the peak summer weeks. Istanbul and Cappadocia are both lovely outside the rush.
The Maldives, the guesthouse way. The Maldives has a reputation for being expensive, and the private-island resorts certainly can be. But staying in a guesthouse on a local island is a much cheaper way to see the same turquoise water. It's quieter and more local, and for many people it's the only way the trip adds up.
Whichever place you have your eye on, the idea is the same: work out what matters most to you, spend on that, and save on the rest. Tell us where you'd like to go and what you want to spend, and we'll suggest a few ways to make it work. If it can't be done for that number, we'll tell you that too.
It's natural to start with price. Nobody wants to overpay. But the cheapest travel agency isn't always the one with the lowest number on the quote, and a trip that goes wrong can cost far more than the few pounds you saved. Here's what we'd look at if we were choosing.
Read real reviews. Check Google, Trustpilot or TripAdvisor, and read the recent ones, not just the star rating. The most useful comments are the ones about what happened when something changed, because that tells you how an agency behaves when things aren't easy.
Ask for the full price in writing. A cheap headline fare can grow once bags, seat choice, booking fees and card charges are added. Ask what's included, what isn't, and what you'd pay if you had to change your dates.
Check you're protected. If your trip includes flights and a hotel together, ask whether the booking is ATOL protected, and whether the agency belongs to a body like ABTA. A good agent will answer that straight away, in plain words.
Compare, then decide. Get two or three quotes, ours included, and put them side by side. Give each one the same budget and the same details so you're comparing like with like. If one price is far lower than the rest, ask why.
If you'd like a quote from us, send over your details and we'll come back to you with options, and we'll tell you exactly what's included.
Holiday packages get a mixed reputation. Some people swear by them, others wouldn't book one. The truth sits somewhere in the middle: sometimes bundling your flights and hotel saves money and stress, and sometimes it doesn't. Here's how we think about it.
When a package tends to work well. A package usually makes sense for a week at a popular resort, for a first trip to somewhere you don't know, or when you'd simply like the flights and hotel sorted in one booking. You pay one price, deal with one booking, and there's less to keep track of.
When it might not. If you're travelling at an unusual time, staying somewhere a bit different, or building the trip around one particular flight or hotel, booking separately can give you more control and sometimes a lower price. Packages can also come with fixed dates and less room to change things.
What to check either way. Look at what's actually included: baggage, meals, transfers and taxes. Read the change and cancellation terms. And ask how the booking is protected if something goes wrong.
How we help. Tell us where you're going, when, and how many of you are travelling. Where it's possible, we'll look at it as a package and with the flights and hotel booked separately, and tell you which works out better. There's no point us pushing one if the other suits you more.
Everyone wants cheap flights, but a low fare isn't always as cheap as it looks. Airlines price their seats in a way that can feel random, so it helps to know a few basics before you book.
When to book. For most routes, booking a few months ahead beats leaving it to the last minute, and the cheapest seats often go first as the plane fills up. There's no magic day, though. If you see a fair price for the dates you want, it's usually worth taking it rather than waiting and hoping.
Know which fare you're buying. The lowest fare is often a basic one: hand luggage only, no seat choice and little room to make changes. That's fine for a short trip with a small bag. For a longer holiday with suitcases, a standard fare can turn out to be the better deal.
Think about stops and timings. A flight with one stop, or one that leaves at an awkward hour, is often cheaper than the direct option. Just check the connection time is long enough, and be honest about whether you'll be happy with the journey.
Watch the extras. Bags, seat selection, meals and card fees can all add up. Put them in before you compare, so you're looking at the real price and not just the headline number.
Not sure which fare to pick? Tell us your route and dates and we'll look at the options and explain the differences in plain English, so you know what you're getting before you pay.
A travel agent can only find you a great deal if they know what you're after. Most of the best results come from a good conversation at the start, not from a secret discount code. So here's how to get the most from whichever agent you use, us included.
Be upfront about your budget. It can feel awkward, but a number lets us skip options that were never going to work and spend our time on the ones that might. If you have some flexibility, tell us how much.
Say what really matters. Is it a direct flight, a hotel near the beach, or being home by a certain date? Everyone has one or two must-haves and a few nice-to-haves. Knowing which is which makes it much easier to find the trade-offs that suit you.
Share what you've already found. If a price online caught your eye, tell us. We can check what it actually includes and whether there's a better option, or tell you straight if it looks like a good price.
Ask what happens if plans change. Life gets in the way. Ask about change fees, cancellation terms and what happens if a flight is rescheduled, before you pay and not after.
Give us a bit of lead time. Last-minute trips are possible, but the more notice we have, the more choice there usually is on both price and availability.
Ready to talk it through? Send us the basics and we'll take it from there.
